Joy Booker is a Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Public Client Relations at PineBridge Investments. She leads public plan business from marketing to service delivery, across fixed income, equities, and multi-asset strategies.
Booker’s career began as a management consultant at Price Waterhouse and Deloitte where she leveraged her bachelor’s in computer science from Binghamton University to develop enterprise technology solutions for Fortune 500 clients. After earning an MBA from Columbia University, she transitioned to asset management at New York Life and Mercer.
Internationally, Booker’s career experience includes assignments and projectwork in Asia and Europe. She was a finalist for the Acumen Fund’s Global Fellows Program, selected as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow in Public Policy, and conducts an annual “Circle of Joy” school supply drive for children in South Africa.
Booker serves on the Board of The Opportunity Network, and served terms as Board Member, President and Vice President for CALIBR. She is a founding member of TARA/Belizean Grove, and an active member of Columbia University’s Women in Business.
