Michael C. Hyter is a proven innovator and global leader in the talent and leadership development space with more than 35 years of experience in talent acquisition, leadership training and consulting, and diversity and inclusion strategy. He successfully built and managed multi-million dollar businesses and corporate sales operations with specialized expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business integration, and sales team growth and cultivation.
Hyter is Office Managing Director for the DC-area offices of Korn Ferry. He is a Senior Partner and leads the Leadership and Talent Consulting practice where he advises Fortune 1000 executives and corporate board members on strategic talent optimization and how to align talent strategies with business goals. His expertise in leadership development, executive coaching and Inclusion & Diversity integration has resulted in million dollar revenues for the practice.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Hyter held several leadership positions at the Dayton Hudson Corporation. He was president and CEO of Novations Group, which led to the roles of President, Managing Partner and Board Director of Global Novations.
Hyter has authored two books, The Power of Choice: Embracing Efficacy to Drive Your Career (2011) and The Power of Inclusion: Unlock the Potential and Productivity of Your Workforce (2005). He is a member of The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) and former chair of The ELC Foundation.
